Description
30-36″ tall x 18-24″ wide (seed propagated). This showy wildflower species blooms in summer with a spectacular display of lavender-pink, hummingbird attracting flower clusters held on top of sturdy, upright stems. Its attractive, glossy, aromatic foliage looks good all season and is not affected by powdery mildew. Our selection is grown from seed collected in the scenic but climatically challenged Wichita Mountains of southwestern OK. Enduring bone chilling winters, brutally hot, humid summers and periodic drought, Wichita Mts. Wild Bergamont is a fine choice for low maintenance plantings all across the country. It grows easily in full sun plant in most soil types including clay.
