Sterntaler is a robust, long blooming Tickseed with showy golden-yellow petals with a reddish-brown center. The flowers are continuous over the summer when deadheaded. It thrive with heat and sun and requires a well drained soil. Drought resistant/drought tolerant plant (xeric).
Description
16″ tall x 15″ wide (seed propagated). ‘Sterntaler’ is a vigorous grower blooming from late spring through summer’s end with very attractive, fringed yellow blossoms with a striking reddish brown eye. An easily grown, nicely compact selection, keep it deadheaded to extend the flowering season but leave a few seed heads at the end of the season to encourage it to re-seed itself.
