It can be used as a crack filler in rock walls, between flagstones and pavers or as a lawn substitute in small areas. Tolerates light foot traffic. ‘Platt’s Black’ grows best in moderately moist to moist soil conditions. Grows in most soil types including clay. Plant with Columbine.
