Jethro Tull is a very distinctive looking Coreopsis with large golden-yellow daisies with fluted petals. A long bloomer when deadheaded, this is a compact growing variety. Drought resistant/drought tolerant plant (xeric).
Description
15-18″ tall x 18-24″ wide (cutting propagated). An exciting new hybrid form of Coreopsis with unusually shaped golden-yellow fluted petals, ‘Jethro Tull’ is a perennial you’ll want for its compact growing habit and long season of bloom. A cross between Coreopsis auriculata ‘Zamphir’ and Coreopsis grandiflora ‘Early Sunrise’, this plant needs a lean, well-drained soil in full sun for best garden performance. I plant it with Delosperma for a sensational, long blooming, low care pairing. Low fertility, well drained soil. PP#18,89
